How adorable! I love the material; it looks so retro. Trust me, bringing that stocking out every year will be a wonderful memory. Meant to comment on Miriam the day before--I love this simple little sweater. I am planning on joining the Purl Diva knitalong of Miriam starting early January. What a wonderful sweater, Carrie! Can't wait to start.
You ARE getting into sewing, aren't you? :) :) and such a heirloom this way for Immie. I did a cross-stitch one for my daughter 28 years ago which is still hung on the chimney with care....happy Christmas!
Magnets are always fun. Ours liked the leap frog letter magnets for the fridge. When you put the letter magnet in the spot on the "base", it says the letter name and sound. Although we may have gotten it when our kids were a little older so they could actually fit the letter on... Bad explanation- but all the kids loved it. :)
that is looking good. can't wait to see the finished product

ReplyDeleteLucky girl! Sadly for Olivia, her mother sucks at sewing. I was thinking of knitting her one, but I don't have the time right now.
ReplyDeleteWhat will you be stuffing her stocking with? :)
She loves magnets (?) so I thought I'd get her some alphabet magnets...and oranges! Not much...but she doesn't know the difference being so young. :)
