I write this post with a tender, heavy heart. My dad recently passed away unexpectedly. It doesn't feel right to brush past this here without any mention, though I know it is a very personal thing to share. I just want to acknowledge his passing and say how much I love him. He is greatly, greatly missed.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family. My Mother passed away suddenly in January - I have been going to a bereavement group which has been very helpful. And, I've been told that this book is very helpful: How To Go On Living When Someone You Love Dies by Therese A. Rando.

    So sorry to hear of your loss...I lost my Mom (who taught me to knit) about 5 years ago, It's never the same but it does get better. Cherish every day - sounds cliched..but its true...
