Trying to figure out how to knit and cook/bake and make the house look neat and visit with friends/family and (AND) spend hours staring at my daughter's cuteness...all in a weekend's time. I'm not ready to give up the fantasy that I can do it all. Yet.

I hear ya - 12 1/2 years after my number one was born and I still am trying to fit it all in. Only - I think you have me beat in the world of knitting. ;)
Well, let a mother to 3 (and to 2 kittens) tell you something : take the needles and run ! Alternatively, you can stop sleeping... Who needs to sleep anyway ?? And the swatch is gorgeous indeed !
Can't wait to see what's percolating with the swatch! Go with Immie's cuteness and forget the housework - that'll still be around in 20 years time!
