a lesson learned

I had a little visitor today! And she was wearing her booties around my office, but apparently I need to do a better job attaching pom-poms. You can see there was still one left (out of 4), but today she took care of that for me. She'd rather eat 'em than wear 'em. Oh, babies.

Oh, yes. Babies are wiley. I had to double/triple/quadruple stitch with sewing thread the buttons on that little Lark coat I made for Olivia to ensure she didn't eat them. And even so, she tried eating them by pulling the buttons into her mouth while it was attached to the coat.

eep, so cute! those boots look adorable on her.

i have these in my ravelry queue to knit for my little guy (11 mos) and was just wondering how well they stay on?

Good question--they are still a little big on her so I think that when they fit a little more snug, they'll stay on better.
But, I'm working on a pair that has little eyelet holes for a tie. Look for a post here, I'll let you know when the pattern is updated!

Immie totally looks like you in the smiling close up! She is so beautiful and looking so much older!
Maybe I need to bribe her with pom poms? Too cute.

Oh, Immie! I thought of you last week as I knew it was your birthday. I'm so sorry you were sick on New Year's Day. You are looking very healthy now! Josie says, "That pom pom looks yummy!" :)

Wendy! Yes, our girls are a year. Hard to believe how fast it has gone by. Hello to Josie!
