Mae

I'm happy to introduce you to Mae, a simple shrug with a touch of elegance (if I do say so myself). I love the way the garter stitch band curves around the neck and body. Can't get enough of that stitch!

Below are a few still photos, so you can see just how simple this baby is. The shrug is knit flat from cuff to cuff, sleeves are then sewn, with the final step being the garter stitch band that is picked up around all the back stitches. Easy-peasy.

(You can find the pattern on Madder or Ravelry.)

Beautiful in its simplicity. Do you mind telling me where that dress is from? It, too, is gorgeous!

Thanks!
The dress is from my closet--it's vintage.
