I made this! (With help from Atelier Stitch.) I'm pretty sure this tank is going to be my summer uniform.
Next sewing project: A little dress for Imogen. I'll attempt to do this one on my own (eek).
I love the tank in linen! Do you know about Grainline patterns, too? (grainlinestudio.com). They are super simple to sew but fit like a dream (I'm obsessed with the scout t.) I've sewn a few Oliver + S things for Charlie. The end result is well worth the detail oriented patterns. Have fun!
so cute! i love how you made the tank into a summer dress. i just made the tova dress and thought about the tank, but am more comfortable with sleeves now. i love the navy of yours!
I made the tank in denim last year (which I layer over things) and plan to make a few more for summer this year. But yours in linen, and dress length, I love it.
it's not difficult, really! you can do it! it is nothing more than sewing a couple rows of basting stitches, pulling them up slightly to help the sleeve to fit the arm hole. pin it in, matching notches (use lots of pins helps lots)and sew. your tank dress looks beautifully made, you can do sleeves. :)
ooh, denim. great idea--bet that's staple in your wardrobe. i accidentally cut 2 fronts (oops) so i'm thinking i'll end up making a second one in the linen. maybe i'll skip the pocket on that one. but, i definitely think i'll wear them both a lot.

the tova dress looks so pretty, too! maybe someday...right now i'd be too nervous to attempt a set in sleeve.

lori ann--you're inspiring me to try tova!
Congratulations!
I LOVE it and perfect together with that beautiful cowl : )
Gorgeous! I can't wait to see it in person. I bought fabric to make one but haven't started it yet. Yours is inspiring me to get it done!
thanks, ladies!
lily--you'll look lovely in the tank!
Beautiful! I have the pattern but haven't started it yet. Is it that long or did you lengthen it? Looks darling.
