I finally cast on for Imogen's fair isle pullover. Though this sweater was fun to design, I'm excited for it to become 3D--out of my head and onto the needles.
On a different note, if anyone in the Portland, ME area wants to learn to knit, you can take classes from my lovely friend and co-worker, Jerusha Robinson, at the Gathering of Stitches. First sweater class anyone?
( I signed up for one of the silk screening classes! )

Hello, 8 actually a question about your sweater pattern "Acadia". May I ask it here? It looks so stylish on the model. What are the elements that keep it looking so good? Have been searching for a pattern and I like this one very much.
It looks like fun things are going on over there. ; )
oh, yes...
:)
can't wait to see what you create. i can already tell it's beautiful!
First commenter: Acadia is very simple--a dolman sleeves cardigan with garter stitch and seed stitch edging. I generally think simplicity is stylish!
