I am a very timid sewer with a big fabric stash! I love fabric. Love love love it.
I'm determined to become more confident this year with my sewing machine. I have one-on-one lessons scheduled in April with a seamstress down the hall from my Q office. Can't wait!

Liberty of London prints are so pretty....that print is really dreamy, I agree.

Glad you're getting some sunshine! It's gray here, today. Wishing for some sunshine...

It always seems so odd to me when you write about being a beginning sewer; I've been sewing my own clothes since I was 7, and in high school and college, I made everything I wore (except for bras - I did make all my other underwear!). I started knitting a couple of years ago and I have so many ideas sketched out - I find myself wishing I could just whip them out, like I would with fabric and scissors....Knit design seems so much harder to me. So much...math....
I'm sure you will be creating all the wonderful things you can dream up with fabric in no time! Me and my needles? Hmmmm....

You're so lucky you learned young! You're fearless. That's wonderful.

I get nervous when cutting my beautiful fabric, because you can't cut twice. But, you can rip back and start over with knitting! I think that's my biggest fear--cutting the fabric. That and the tension on my machine. Scary stuff!

Can't wait to make most of my clothes down to the undies. :)
