cooperation in clementine

I thought these photos were so funny--and so TRUE. The reality is, I take about 300 photos of Immie to get about 3 or 4 that: a) Show the garment, b) Are in focus, and c) Are flattering of Imogen. It's great that she doesn't seem to mind being behind the camera. Though, sometimes I think she does this cheeky stuff just to get my goat. So sassy already and she's not even 2!

As with everything (see potty training), if she finds out that you care about something, you're screwed :).

I'm starting to notice that...

She is just way too cute, I have a granddaughter and grand son with the same behaviour, good luck, we do a lot of reasoning and it works except when they turn to you with that 'sh*t-eaten grin" ha ha see what I did look on their face. You want to burst out laughing and can't.

Oh, the grin! Sometimes I can see her little brain working, just looking for trouble. She usually knows how to find it, too. It's amazing to witness yet exhausting. But I love it.

As a grandparent I realize the "fun things" I missed as a parent and I was the enforcer parent, which I truly enjoy now. They are so cute and funny for such a short time, I used to tell my friends to enjoy their children as they grow up too quickly. As a grandparent I get to enjoy some of it all over again. My grandson is now 3 and my granddaughter is 1 1/2 they are soooo special and so is your daughter, funny quirky exploring their world.

I'm glad you're enjoying your grand children so much! It's such a special role in a little person's life. My mom is also marveling in her "job" as Grammy. :)

Adorable! That first picture is just perfect.
And so reassuring that even great photographers like you can't nail it every single time when your model has a mind of her own and better things to do. (ooooh look! A bug! A piece of grass! My belly button! Why is mom making those goofy faces?)

caterpillar green: I'm glad no one sees/hears me during these little shoots. I'm so annoying! Trying to get her attention, trying to make her smile, trying so hard to get a good picture....
:)
Thanks, Emilie!!
